New Printers Coming to Himmelfarb
Beginning Monday, June 9, you will notice new print kiosks around Himmelfarb. The Library has partnered with Colonial Printing to provide you with new WEPA (WE Print Anywhere) printers. WEPA printers are a "cloud-based" printing solution that allows you to print from computers in the Library, your personal computer, your handheld devices (including tablets and smart phones!), as well as USB storage devices. You may "release" you print job from any printer in the building - or on campus! You may also print in color from any of the kiosks.

IT Issues 1/10
GW is experiencing service degradation of many technology services on Friday, January 11. Per GW IT, "GW is currently experiencing high temperatures in the Foggy Bottom Campus data center. In order to proactively protect GW technology resources and data, Division of IT staff will be proactively bringing down services to moderate temperatures until environmental conditions can be stabilized. " A complete list of affected services is available on the GW IT website.
Computer terminals – update & outage
The computers in Himmelfarb Library will be updated on Tuesday, November 26th beginning at 2:00 a.m. During this 1-2 hour time period, users will not be able to login to or use the computers.
Wireless printing – updated
The wireless printing setup for Himmelfarb Library's black and white printers on the 1st and 3rd floors have been updated. Users should uninstall these printers, and then install the updated set-up packets available on our Wireless Printing page.

Printing packets for the Xerox and color printers are unchanged and do not require updates at this time.
ACP Medicine – site unavailable
ACP Medicine is currently unavailable as the vendor completes technical updates to the site. The vendor hopes to have this resource available online again by Monday, September 23rd.
Himmelfarb Computers Downtime
Himmelfarb Library computer terminals on the 1st and 3rd floors will be unavailable due to system updates on Thursday, August 29 from 2 to 3 a.m. Computers in the Bloedorn Technology Center and in Himmelfarb B103 will not be affected and will continue to function during this period.

On Thursday January 17th from 12:00 noon-5:00 pm a representative from Student Technology Services (STS) will be in Himmelfarb Library to resolve your computer issues (laptops, wireless, etc.). Please stop by the Circulation Desk and ask for assistance.
This will be STS' last visit to Himmelfarb for the semester. STS will continue to be available for assistance throughout the semester via phone and in the Technology Commons in Gelman Library.
