Facilities is currently performing some work on the first, second, and third floors of the library  and the projects may last until Sunday, November 29.  The B Level should remain fairly quiet and you may also pick up a set of ear plugs at the Circulation Desk.  We apologize for any inconvenience.

electrician-499799_1920On Saturday November 28, network changes in Himmelfarb Library and Ross Hall will cause some computer systems and services to be unavailable intermittently from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.  The affected services include:
  • Himmelfarb Library's website
  • WEPA printing
  • Internet access
  • Wireless network
  • Documents2Go, Interlibrary Loan, and Document Delivery

If you are working at a Himmelfarb Library or Ross Hall computer on Saturday during this time period, please save your work frequently to avoid loss of information if the computer suddenly goes down.

If the library's website is unavailable, you may use this abbreviated list of Himmelfarb electronic resources to access information.

GW Single sign onGW has recently made changes to the sign-on process used by many users to access Himmelfarb Library's online resources.  The updated sign-on now includes  uApprove, which asks users to accept terms of use and consent to have information provided to services accessed using the single sign-on application.   Users should accept the terms of use and consent in order to access Himmelfarb's databases, e-books, and e-journals.
If you have questions, please read more about the changes to single sign-on or contact Laura Abate (leabate@gwu.edu).
