Need a Data Management Plan?

DataMany researchers are experienced with planning, obtaining funding, and publishing their research findings, but may have less experience in creating a data management plan.  A data management plan is a formal document that describes how you will manage your data and its storage both during your project and after the project is completed.  Data management plans are increasingly required by U.S. government funders.

Himmelfarb Library has a guide to Data Management Plans to support researchers in creating a data management plan (DMP).  This guide includes both online sources for information regarding DMPs and their development as well as DMP templates and information on data repositories to consider for deposit of your research data.
