Himmelfarb Library is pleased to announce that more online resources are now optimized for use on mobile devices.  Health Information @ Himmelarb, CINAHL with Full-Text, Health Policy Reference Center, and SportDISCUS with Full-Text are now designed to automatically detect Smartphones and tablet computers and provide a search interface designed for mobile devices.  Apple iPads will continue to access the complete desktop version of these resources.

The updated mobile interface is tailor-made for the smaller screens of mobile devices and provides the most important search and retrieval features and functionality right in the palm of your hand.  Mobile device users now have access to the same user-friendly and easy-to-use search experience that is available online.

Published on 1 Comment on DynaMed on Multiple Mobile Devices

It is now easier to install DynaMed on multiple mobile devices.  DynaMed is installed after first creating a free Skyscape account. Skyscape now supports the installation of DynaMed on up to up to five devices of the same operating system. For example, if you have registered DynaMed on your iPhone, you can install it to your iPad using the same serial number. When you install Skyscape/DynaMed on the iPad, all of the resources that were registered to your iPhone are automatically installed. This also applies to the Android and BlackBerry platforms.

The maintenance of switching/adding devices is handled through Skyscape's My Account webpage. If you want to have the product installed on a sixth device, you will need to deactivate the subscription from one of the other five devices. You are able to do this from the My Account page.

DynaMed provides rapidly updated, evidence-based, clinically-oriented disease and drug information for health care professionals. If you need a serial number in order to install DynaMed on your mobile device, please send an email to Himmelfarb Library at himmelfarb@gwu.edu.
