Healthy Living @ Himmelfarb will continue to offer a weekly mindfulness meditation session through the spring. Each session will be hosted by Himmelfarb Library's Catherine Sluder using a mindfulness app and will begin at 12:30 in Himmelfarb 305H; sessions will last for 15-20 minutes. This event is offered for free and no registration is required. If you miss the first session or arrive late, just come the following week! Mindfulness practice has been shown to reduce stress, increase memory, reduce distractability and increase empathy? What could be better for health sciences students?
