Well done Andrew!

Please join us in congratulating Aubrey Harrison who successfully defended his dissertation, Racism in Context: An Exploration of Where and How Black Adolescent Males Respond to Racism.

Special thanks to Drs. Mimi Le, Sherry Molock, Jody Ganiban, and Lionel Howard who were on the committee and Dr. Cindy Rohrbeck who chaired the defense.

Dr. Sharon Lambert has been awarded a grant from the Mind and Life Institute to evaluate a social justice, school-based mindfulness intervention for youth.  This work builds from her work with Peace of Mind, a non-profit organization focused on teaching mindfulness-based social and emotional learning to elementary and middle school students.

You can read about the grant here.
