Please join us in congratulating Applied Social Psychology doctoral student, Katarina AuBuchon, who successfully defended her dissertation, The Physiological and Psychological Pain of Racial Discrimination and Potential Pain-mitigating Effects of Acknowledgement from an Ally.
Committee members included Drs. Ellen Yeung, Lisa Bowleg, and Paul Poppen from PBS and Dr. Vani Mathur from Texas A & M University. Dr. Jody Ganiban served as the Chair.
In August, Kate will begin her NRSA Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship appointment in Georgetown University's Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center's Cancer Population Science T32 Training Program.
