| During the 2002-2003 academic year Larysa Shynkarenko was a visiting reseach scholar at The George Washington University, affiliated with the Research Program in Social and Organization Learning and the Law School. Her stay in the USA was supported by the Junior Faculty Development Program, which is funded by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureu of Educational and Cultural Affairs. Her mentor at The George Washington University was Professor Mary Cheh.
While she was in Washington, DC, she taught the Basics of Ukrainian Law for children (aged 15-16) connected with The Embassy of Ukraine. She also conducted a choir for children (aged 6-15). These children participated in five concerts including including Rochester, NY; Washington DC; and Silver Spring, MD.
Education PhD expected from Odessa National Academy of Law, 2004.
