During the 2006-2007 academic year Tinatin Tchintcharauli was a visiting research professor at The George Washington University, affiliated with the Research Program in Social and Organizational Learning. Her stay in the U.S. was supported by the Junior Faculty Development Program, which is funded by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. Her advisor at The George Washington University was Professor John Philbeck, Department of Psychology.
Tinatin Tchintcharauli is a professor in the Department of Psychology at Tbilisi State Medical University. She was teaching courses in Neuropsychology and Neuropsychological Rehabilitation and Aphasiology. Now she is working on new courses in the USA: 1. Experimental Neuropsychology: Current Research Paradigms and 2. Emotional Development and Behavior Management. She conducted research at GWU on implicit memory for her Ph.D thesis, “The neuropsychological and cognitive-psychological characteristics of implicit memory.”
