His freshman year at GWU, he conducted a social study analyzing the impact of basketball courts in communities. Nazeef spent his summers on campus researching as part of the GW Buzz Lab’s Beehavior Team and investigated psychological aspects that may be contributing to colony collapse disorder in honeybees. His most recent project involved developing a novel, time- and cost-effective methodology for demonstrating differential dark-adaptation in rods and cones. His personal favorite project studied the effect of personality factors on sense of humor styles. Currently, Nazeef continues to assist graduate students with fear and anxiety research at the EPIC Lab, particularly with his expertise in Qualtrics. He is interested in further examining the different subtypes of anxiety. He hopes to become a psychotherapist to aid individuals with their emotional and psychological well-being and plans on applying to graduate school soon. Nazeef is fascinated by and curious about all specialties of psychology, and he remains interested in continuing research and studying more psychology. In his free time, Nazeef enjoys playing board and online games, making his friends laugh, and allowing his kitten to take him for walks.
