Jared Axelowitz, BA

While an undergraduate, Jared participated in several studies with graduate student lab members. During his junior year, he received GW’s Luther Rice Undergraduate Research Fellowship which funded his research study on sexual violence. Jared used an experimental design to examine differences among three groups, a live sexual assault disclosure, a taped sexual assault disclosure, and a control condition, on bystander intentions to prevent sexual assault. In this photo, he is with GW’s President LeBlanc at GW Research Days. Jared is currently in a post-grad research position and will soon be starting a post baccalaureate Intramural Research Award (IRTA) at NIH. In the future, he plans to apply to law school.
