MSL in Government Procurement & Cybersecurity Law

There is increasing demand for cybersecurity legal expertise among acquisition professionals. The successful implementation of these requirements will depend heavily on skilled legal reasoning and policy interpretation by acquisition professionals in federal agencies, private firms, and industry. The Master of Studies in Law (MSL) in Government Procurement and Cybersecurity Law Program meets the evolving needs of professionals who work in the increasingly interdisciplinary field of government contracts. This concentration offers students a hybrid approach to learning – Cybersecurity Law courses can be taken on campus and Government Procurement Law courses can be taken on campus or online.

DAU TRANSFER CREDITS

The George Washington University Law School (GW Law) offers a 24-credit hour Master of Studies in Law (MSL) for Government Procurement Law to help meet the growing demand for non-lawyers to be familiar with how law and policy influence the field of government procurement. In recognition of the training that many of our MSL candidates have received prior to enrolling at GW Law, the Law School has developed a partnership with the Defense Acquisition University (DAU) to further our shared mission of educating the acquisition workforce.
