Sasha Obradovic was a visiting scholar from Serbia and Montenegro at The George Washington University in the 2003-2004 academic year. Mr. Obradovic won a scholarship from The Junior Faculty Development Program, which is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. Prof. Joseph Pelzman was his mentor at GWU. Mr. Obradovic is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Kragujevac, Faculty of Economics. He is currently working on his dissertation entitled “Elements of Macroeconomics in the Function of Growth and Development.” In 2000 he received his master’s degree from the University of Belgrade. Mr. Obradovic’s research interests include Economic Development and International Macroeconomics.
