During the spring of 2010 Marsel Kalemi was a visiting research scholar at The George Washington University, Deparment of Management, School of Business. His stay in the USA was supported by the Junior Faculty Development Program, which is funded by U.S Department of State. His mentor at George Washington University was Professor Liesl Riddle, Associate Professor of International Business & International Affairs and Co-Director, Diaspora Research Program (http://www.gwu.edu/~elliott/research/programs/diaspora/)
He graduated from New York University in Tirana, Albania, in 2007 and now he is working on his master’s thesis at The State University of Tirana, Economics Faculty, majoring in European economic studies. His interests are Business Administration, International Business and Marketing.
