Zoran Bogetic was a visiting scholar from Serbia and Montenegro during the 2003-2004 academic year at The George Washington University. His visit was sponsored by the Junior Faculty Development Program, which is funded by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. Professor Pradeep A. Rau was the mentor for Mr. Bogetic at GWU.
Mr. Bogetic is currently working on his dissertation at the University of Belgrade. He is a candidate in economics and the title of his research is “Models of Category Management in Channels of Distribution.” In 1995 he received his MA in Economics at the University of Belgrade. He also completed his undergraduate studies there and received his BA in Economics in 1991. Now he works as an assistant lecturer at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Economics, Trade Department. Mr. Bogetic teaches courses in Trade Management, Trade Marketing and Economics of Trade. He also works part-time as a visiting lecturer in the Belgrade Open School and the Alternative Academic Educational Network. Mr. Bogetic has participated in numerous projects within Serbia and Montenegro. Most recently he was a member in the project initiated by the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Services. The project was called “Contemporary Development Strategy and Policy of Trade of the Republic of Serbia” (2003). He is also an advisor for strategic development and marketing for Montecco Inc, Podgorica, Montenegro, since 1998. This company is a leader in the distribution of beverages in Montenegro.
