Filip Turcinovic was a visiting scholar from Montenegro during the 2003-2004 academic year at The George Washington University. His time in the U.S. was sponsored by the Junior Faculty Development Program, which is funded by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. His mentor at GWU was Professor Sean Murphy.
Mr. Filip Turcinovic has been in the field of international public law for more than 20 years. During his education and his PhD studies, he showed special interest in this area of law. He also exhibited a strong interest in international affairs, which is the reason for his professorship in the Department of Philosophy at the University in Banja Luka, School of Journalism and his book International Affairs. He has published four books and more than 30 articles. EDUCATION: 1989. Finished post-graduate studies at the University of Zagreb, Croatia 1975. Graduated from the Law School, University of Belgrade, Serbia, Yugoslavia WORK EXPERIENCE : 2000.- Present Part-time professor for European Law and Economic Integration Processes on Megatrend University, Belgrade, Yugoslavia 1999.- Present Part-time professor for International Relationship at the 1997. – Present Full-time professor for International Law at the University of Banja Luka, Bosnia & Herzegovina 1995.-1998.
