During the 1998-1999 academic year, Oksana Kravchenko was a visiting research professor at The George Washington University, affiliated with the Research Program in Social and Organizational Learning. Her stay in the USA was supported by the Junior Faculty Development Program, which is funded by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and is administered by the American Council of Teachers of Russian. His mentor at GW was Professor Patrick McHugh. Dr. Kravchenko received her doctoral degree in 1996 on “Methodological Approaches to the Regulation of Collective Disputes in Labor Markets” from Irkutsk Institute of National Economy. She is a senior teacher in the department.
