During the 2001-2002 academic year, Konstantin Lioubimov was a visiting research professor at The George Washington University, affiliated with the Research Program in Social and Organizational Learning. His stay in the USA was supported by the Junior Faculty Development Program, which is funded by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.
He received a bachelor’s degree in public management from the North Caucasian Government Staff Center in Rostov-na-Donu, South Russia, and a master’s degree in finance from Rostov School of Economics. He received his “kandidat nauk” degree (roughly analogue of PhD) from St. Petersburg University of Economics and Finance. From 1995 to 2001 he has been an associate professor at St. Petersburg State University of Economics and Finance. He has taught courses in Corporate Finance, Fundamentals of Finance, and Government Financial Regulation. Lioubimov has published articles in various Russian periodicals. He is also the co-author of two manuals and one of the recently published textbooks on corporate finance. He is a certified auditor by the Russian Ministry of Finance.Areas of expertise include: Corporate Financial Management, Tax Planning. |
