During the 1999-2000 academic year, Olga Yakovleva was a visiting research professor at The George Washington University, affiliated with the Research Program in Social and Organizational Learning. Her stay in the USA was supported by the Junior Faculty Development Program, which is funded by the U.S.Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and is administered by the American Council of Teachers of Russian. Her mentor at GW was Professor Rolf Peterson.Olga Yakovleva teaches at the Omsk State Pedagogical Institute in the Department of Applied Psychology. She specializes in Personality Psychology, the subject of her degree.
