During the 1999-2000 academic year, Oleg Britchka was a visiting research professor at The George Washington University, affiliated with the Research Program in Social and Organizational Learning. His stay in the USA was supported by the Junior Faculty Development Program, which is funded by the U.S.Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and is administered by the American Council of Teachers of Russian. His mentor at GW was Professor Belle Tyndall.

Oleg Britchka has been a teacher of English since February 1998. He is responsible for establishing and maintaining his University’s international relations. His duties include teaching spoken English and applied linguistics. He graduated from secondary school with a silver medal and received a Kandidat degree in Autumn of 1999.
