All Faculty and Staff can access professionally created content from KnowBe4 (our awareness content provider) as well as Linkedin Learning on Talent@GW. If you are familiar with Talent@GW, you can search for training using the global search box (top right side Talent@GW portal). KnowBe4 - short form topical content available on Talent@GW. Type 'KnowBe4' in the search box to see content posted specifically for our community. New content will be updated in the coming months so check back. We recommend these two items related to phishing attacks: 2022 Social Engineering Red Flags and Knowbe4 Pretexting - 'Tech Support' Social Engineering.
LinkedIn Learning - more in depth content ranging from introductory to more technical discussions and even mini classes. of overviews to more technical deep dives. Type 'cybersecurity awareness' in the search box to get a list of 185 items. We know that this is alot! The team will make recommendations to assist you in choosing cotnent. Cybertalk Professional Development Planning – IT Security Training Ideas May 15
Supervisors and staff should consider registering for the May 15, 2025 Cyber Talk at 10:00am. Provided during the performance review period, this session will review finding and selecting cybersecurity training from the Talent@GW catalog. A brief review of assigning training to direct reports will also be provided for supervisors.
