During the 2007 academic year Armenuhi Khachatryan was a visiting research scholar at The George Washington University, affiliated with the Research Program in Hospitality Management. Her stay in the USA was supported by the Junior Faculty Development Program, which is funded by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. Her advisor at The George Washington University was Associate Professor Sheryl Elliot from the Department of Tourism.

Armenuhi Khachatryan is a professor in the Department of Tourism at European Regional Educational Academy. She is currently teaching courses in Hospitality Management and the Industry of Tourism.

Education
September 1996 -June 2001: Graduate studies in Commodity Expertise with a specialization in “Merchandise and Quality Expertise” at Yerevan State Institute of Economics, Armenia. She graduated with a Master’s Diploma with honors.

Armenuhi has publications in the field of Marketing, focusing on the development of a specific (Obsidian items) market. She has also participated in the development and creation of the CD-guide “Discover Armenia”.
