Cynthia Rohrbeck, PhD is a member of the Clinical Psychology PhD program at The George Washington University. Her BA is from Cornell University and her MA and PhD from the University of Rochester. Her past research includes studies on child maltreatment, child self-management interventions, assessment, peer interventions in schools, and stress and coping in children, adults, and families. She is a co-author of measures, including the Teacher-Child Rating Scale (TCRS), the Child Rating Scale (CRS), the Parent Opinion Questionnaire (POQ), and the Child Self-Control Rating Scale (CSCRS). Current interests include relationships among exposure to human-made and natural disasters, perceived threat of disasters, emergency preparedness self-efficacy, emergency preparedness, and mental health.
