The 48th annual DC History Conference is due to take place March 31- April 2, 2022 and invites scholars, researchers, artists, and organizers to participate. Graduate students are especially encouraged to share their current research findings.

Conference details are subject to change due to Covid-19, but at this time, the conference will be held in a hybrid format with all panels occurring in-person and a number of panels live-streamed.

In recent news, GW will join the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority's (WMATA) U-Pass program. This program offers unlimited rides on the Metrorail and Metrobus for a discounted, flat fee for full-time students. The program will begin on December 1st and will offer a 3-week free trial.

On Saturday, November 20th at 11:00 a.m. ET, The Davis Center Oral History Project will be hosting their monthly Coffee Chat. The event will feature Kamiliah Thurmon, Beatrice Davis-Williams, and Roger Glass.
