Leading scholars in civics will share key takeaways and findings assembled in the current volume of The ANNALS of the American Academy of Political and Social Science: Civic Education in a Time of Democratic Crisis. Panelists will discuss how educators can more effectively teach civics and prepare our young people to be champions of democracy. Several articles in the ANNALS volume feature recent insights from the National Academy of Education Educating for Civic Reasoning and Discourse report and the Educating for American Democracy Roadmap.
