Register for the Lang Center's (Swarthmore College) annual Engaged Scholarship Symposium on March 16-18, 2021. The Symposium will comprise a total of three sessions spread over three days, with each session lasting 1.5 hours.
Session 1: Community Engagement and Collaboration - March 16, 5:00-6:30pm EST. Session 2: Racial Justice & Equity - March 17, 12:00-1:30pm EST. Session 3: Environmental Justice - March 18, 12:00pm-1:30pm EST.
The goal for this year’s symposium is to create a space in which faculty and staff can share examples of and approaches to Engaged Scholarship, particularly the innovations and adaptations that have emerged over the past year to meet the unique challenges and demands of the current moment. Other participating institutions include Brown University, Duke University, Miami Dade College, Portland State University, University of San Diego, Swarthmore College, and Tulane University.
