Thank you to the Department of Sociology for sharing this! Although the Scholarship and Social Justice Research Conference is not connected with or sponsored by the Department of Sociology or George Washington University, it may be of interest to students, faculty, or staff pursuing research on community engagement work and social justice issues. "For student scholars, this is an opportunity to engage in academic dialogue with peers and faculty mentors. For faculty, this conference presents an opportunity to explore about how other disciplines conduct research that creates new knowledge and understanding about equity and social justice and to be inspired by the next generation of scholars. Our keynote speaker will be Dr. Roberto Gonzales, author of Lives in Limbo and Director of the Immigration Initiative at Harvard."
