Federal Circuit Clerkships PanelPlease join the GW Law Government Procurement Law Program on Wednesday, October 26th at 5 pm in the FCC for a Federal Circuit Clerkships Panel. The panelists are former and current clerks from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, as well as the U.S. Court of Federal Claims and the Civilian Board of Contract Appeals – tribunals within the Federal Circuit’s appellate jurisdiction. The discussion will cover the benefits of clerking, life after clerking, the dockets of each court, and how students can apply for judicial internships and clerkships. Given the diverse subject matter jurisdiction of these courts, students with an interest in government contracts, IP, international trade, veterans law, vaccine injury claims, federal employment claims, and military pay claims (to name a few), should attend. Refreshments will be provided.

This hybrid event will be held on November 2, 2022 from 5-7pm in the GW Law Faculty Conference Center (FCC) and via Zoom. Government contracts attorneys from the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), and the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) will demystify their work life, discuss career opportunities in the national security space, and provide attendees with guidance on how they can pursue legal positions in these organizations.
