Come to SLATE: The World College Comedy Festival! Put on by GW’s only improv and sketch comedy group recess, SLATE seeks to bring out the very best in improv and stand-up comedy for their annual show in Betts! This year alone, 5 improv groups from up and down the eastern seaboard: recess (GW), Riot Act (University of Delaware), Erasable, Inc. (University of Maryland), Football Team (Drexel), UiP (Muhlenberg), and AU Improv (American), will be performing. Headlining will be Troy Bond, an up-and-coming stand-up comedian who went viral for his quips on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. SLATE will take place on February 19th at 8pm in Betts Theater in the University Student Center; doors open at 7:30. Tickets will be $10 at the door. We hope to see you there!
