GWEB Registration and Course Reference Numbers (CRNs)

Important Reminders
‣ A student who for personal reasons, is temporarily unable to continue their program of studies during the Spring or Fall semester, must request a leave of absence. See Additional Forms for further information.
‣ Students may take the Summer session off without enrolling in leave of absence, but note there are some required courses offered only in the Summer session. See the ETL Course Schedule for details.
‣ Students should refer to Course Drop / Withdrawal Policies and Tuition Refund Policies prior to registering for courses.
‣ All graduating students should refer to Graduation Requirements for important deadlines and requirements.
‣ Graduating masters degree students should also view Comprehensive Exam Requirement.

Student Identification Numbers (GWIDs) Your GWID will be your primary identifier and will be required in order to access GW's information systems.  Students admitted to the ETL Program can find their GWID number noted at the upper left corner of their Official Program Plan.  Your GWid is the letter "G" followed by an 8-digit number.  For more information about GWid, visit the GWid website.

GWEB Online Registration Instructions  The GWeb Information System, sometimes referred to as Banner or Banner Self Service, allows GW students online access to many GW services including registration.  Students must log into GWeb to access the online registration system.  For step by step registration instructions, refer to  the How to Register Guide on the GW Registrar's website.
