Research Pod 2 coordinates pre-award and post-award support for the Milken Institute School of Public Health, the Biostatistics Center, and the Law School. Currently, there are three managers, three co-located OSP representatives, and 15 core members divided into three working teams.

Leadership
The Pod is led by Dr. Adnan Hyder, Senior Associate Dean for Research (SADR) for the Milken Institute School of Public Health.
Managers
Pod 2 has three managers with different specialties. Theresa Chapman has a wealth of experience in proposal preparation and submission and acts as the point of contact for the Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR). She oversees the pre-award team.
Rita Dikdan worked in the realm of post-award research administration for many years in the Office of Sponsored Projects. She oversees the post-award team.
Michael Burdan has a background that aligns with the technical and infrastructure needs of the Pod and handles Pod operations. He oversees the Strategy, Training, On-boarding, and Research Metrics (STORM) team.
