Join the International Association for Research on Service-Learning and Community Engagement in a four-part web series to explore contemporary and cutting edge approaches to community-engaged research. Learn about youth participatory action research, data literacy and quantitative analysis of big data, trends and gaps in community-engaged dissertation research, and Carnegie Co-Labs. The Institute on Project-Based Learning at Worcester Polytechnic Institute is a resource to promote and support efforts by colleges and universities looking to advance project-based learning on their campuses. The Institute is a 2.5-day intensive workshop where teams of five or more faculty and administrators work with experts to learn about project-based learning and make tangible progress to integrate best practices into their own curricula. The Institute will run from Thursday, June 20, through Saturday, June 22, 2024, and is held at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Massachusetts. The American Public Health Association (APHA) 2024 Annual Meeting and Expo, Community Based Public Health Caucus invites your abstract submissions related to the science and practice of community-based public health. The 2024 APHA Annual Meeting and Expo will take place in Minneapolis, MN on October 27-30, 2024. They are looking for abstracts that advance our knowledge of community-academic partnering in multi-disciplinary collaboration and a diversity of community-based public health activities, including basic and applied research projects, interventions, teaching and service learning projects. The Civic Engagement & Voting Rights Teacher Scholars program provides a space for teachers to create curriculums that for the American democracy. Join the Transform Mid-Atlantic Region on April 6th, 2023 for the Spring 2024 TMA Regional Civic Engagement Summit. Come together with peers and colleagues from the region to build leadership, media, and civic engagement skills. There will be workshops for students faculty and administrators led by national organizations dedicated to advancing responsible civic leadership, meaningful dialogue, and sustainable campus democratic engagement plans. There will also be an opportunity for student leaders from throughout the region to engage in a poster session related to the conference’s theme. The partners for this summit are ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge,  Towson University, New Politics Leadership Academy, Urban Rural Action, AASCU American Democracy Project, and other regional leaders.
