I really enjoyed learning about your project with Latino Student Fund. The presentation was clear, organized and compelling. I am so glad that you were able to tutor one student on a regular basis throughout the semester! I think the point you made about getting to know the student's learning style and getting to know them on an individual basis during this time, was very important.
    Congratulations

Hi Annika! Great job on your presentation, and more importantly, on your tutoring! I liked that you used the opportunity of being placed 1-on-1 with a student to explore not only their learning style but also their social/emotional development by recognizing your student also just needed a social outlet you could help provide. I can see how your consistency in service made a difference in not only your educational breakthroughs but also in your relationship and trust you built up with the student. We would love to have you join the engageDC tutor cohort of LSF tutors in the Spring if you are interested so you can offer your great insights to your fellow GW students and also you can expand yourself professionally through more Nashman Center opportunities. I know you know engageDC from last year, and so if you are interested, please reach back out or fill out the Spring interest form at http://gwserves.givepulse.com/survey/take/q2Fq29QDdzyuZLQGvrBO. Great job once again, and I hope to see you at LSF things in the Spring!
