Example programs include: Round Table Post-Election Support Spaces, "We Talk," Post-Election Counseling and Psychological Services, and "What Now? Community Organizing and Activism."
Safety and Precaution tips for next week
The Nashman Center is busy planning a host of post-election reflection events for students following Election Day through inauguration events. These will include spaces to reflect and share thoughts and concerns about the outcome (or contested outcome) of the election, navigating conversations about the election during family holidays, and other topics raised both for and by students experiencing this unusual and historic time.
- The 6th Annual GW Diversity Summit, "Past. Present. Future. What will our legacy be?" is November 11th-13th and will be a great opportunity for students to further engage about political and social justice issues they care about, including the election results.
- If you are concerned about a particular student, you are asked to please submit a Care Team Referral and/or connect them with the GW Counseling and Psychological Services Center.
