GWServes is our online platform for reporting campus-community partnerships and community engagement interests. It is proving to be a useful tool that fosters networking and collaboration among faculty, students, and community partners. These connections help us engage in mutually beneficial partnerships to influence more positive change in our city.
To encourage faculty to connect via this platform, we are providing an introductory, Faculty Guide to GWServes.
Additionally, we are hosting a WebEx guided tour of these steps, every Thursday in April, from 11am-noon. WebEx: https://gwu.webex.com/meet/wagnerw
- Create a profile and tag your social cause interests, research skills, and board memberships so others can find you.
- Join GW subgroups to connect to others with similar interests (e.g. health equity, CBPR, teaching through community engagement, engagement through the arts and humanities)
- Report your community engagement intiatives and research projects.
GWServes allows us to report your department’s engagement (faculty and students) with spreadsheets, maps, and network diagrams. Any user can connect with faculty and community partners based on shared social cause interests.
