Professor Kung is taking a lucky group of UHP-ers ROCK-CLIMBING at Earth Treks in Rockville, Maryland on Saturday, May 4!

Don’t worry, you’ll still have time to study. Kerry Lanzo will be leading a group from the Townhouse in Foggy Bottom at 10am, to return by 1:30pm, and you can leave early if you need (it’s right up the red line). The cost is $22 for entry for the day, and $11 for the materials. It’ll be well worth it to get some exercise, de-stress, and hang out with one of UHP’s coolest faculty members.

Board Game Night! [SPA Event]

Want to pwn your fellow Honors students in Trivia? How about getting victory points in the land of Catan? Do all this and MORE at Board Game Night! Join Sarah Rood and your fellow Honors students playing Trivial Pursuit, Munchkin, Settlers of Catan, Cards Against Humanity and possibly more! Be there Wednesday March 20th (that’s this Wednesday!) from 5-7 pm in the Club Room. Come late or leave early if necessary, as long as you play fairly and have fun!

Road Trip! [SPA Event]

Get excited for the SPA’s big event of the semester! Consider this your formal invitation to bond with your SPA and other honors students on a road trip across the country (figuratively, of course). In addition to some delicious and FREE burritos from Boloco, the SPA will be serving regional cuisine – rest assured there will be fried pickles, among other favorites. Here’s what you need to know:
When: Wednesday, February 20th, 7-9pm
Where: UHP Townhouse
Excited?! You should be! In addition to great company and food, the SPA will be available to offer advising on tough stuff like choosing a major, getting involved in extracurricular activities, study abroad, campus life/housing, and anything related to #honorsproblems. We can’t wait to see you there!
