  • Reducetarian Fellowship: The Reducetarian Fellowship is for exceptional DC-area students who are eager to create a more sustainable, healthy, and compassionate world. The fellowship includes both a curricular component as well as a summer internship with one of many exciting and impactful partner organizations. Each fellow receives a $7,500 stipend and one-on-one mentorship throughout the year. Applications close April 15th!
  • The David Malcolm Scholarship for students who have overcome obstacles to educational achievement is now open for applications! Apply here.
  • SMHS Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Seeking Bilingual Researchers:
    Led by Dr. Brandon Kohrt, The GW Center for Global Mental Health Equity currently seeks volunteer bilingual researchers to support RECOUP-NY, an NIH R01 clinical trial. RECOUP-NY (https://www.recoupny.com/) examines the effectiveness of Problem Management Plus- a validated intervention for moderate distress and depression- when delivered by non-specialist community workers in minoritized communities. In particular, the center seeks candidates fluent in the following languages: Spanish, French, and Mandarin. Apply here
  • National Gallery of Art Internship: For students particualrly interested in biology, entomology, and related fields, there are internships available through the National Gallery of Art that you can find more information about here. The Academic Year Program deadline is April 3, 2024.
  • Canine Cognition Collaborative Summer Internship: The George Washington University’s Canine Cognition Collaborative – a subsidiary of the Social Cognition Lab –  is currently accepting applications to our summer internship program. Our research team takes a student-first approach to undergraduate mentorship. Summer 2024 Internship Opportunity

Are you considering an internship for Summer 2024? 
The Columbian College of Arts & Sciences and the GW Career Center are offering a new 4-part program for a select number of Sophomore and Juniors in the Humanities who are searching for summer internships: the Humanities Internship Academy.
After attending ALL 4 sessions, you will receive the following:
– A strategy for and confidence in your internship search
– Access to alumni connections
– A comprehensive resume included in a resume book for GW alumni hiring summer interns
– A stronger network of peers
The schedule for the Humanities Internship Academy: Lunch will be provided.

    “Career Fair Next Steps and Networking”
To participate, you must commit to attending, in-person, 3 sessions and the Career Expo (in-person or virtually). There is a limited amount
