You’ve got until December 3, 2012 to nominate your professors for one of several presitigous teaching awards. UHP Profs have been known to win these awards before (they’re pretty great, NBD). Even if they don’t win, just being nominated means a lot. So show a little love to your fav. profs and nominate!
Do you know a professor who is the definition of “great teacher”? The Provost’s Office is calling for nominations for the annual GW teaching awards, including the Oscar and Shoshana Trachtenberg Prize for Teaching Excellence(undergraduate teaching only), the Bender Teaching Awards, and the Philip J. Amsterdam Graduate Teaching Award. If you would like to nominate a professor for the Trachtenberg or Bender Awards, or a graduate teaching assistant for the Amsterdam Award, we ask you to submit a nomination via the Teaching & Learning Collaborative website no later than December 3.
