This is a long one, full of information so dry that even the most adorable cat pictures won’t spice it up. Still, it’s important to know — so read through and come back to it later if you need! Remember, if you miss your registration day, you won’t have another chance to register until open registration (so freshmen and sophomores, don’t waste your privileged registration!)
Registration dates, forms, procedures, and info on where to get free pizza ia all below!

Advising Hold Removal Schedule
While all Honors students are encouraged to see an Honors Program Officer before registration, Columbian College students who have not declared a major MUST meet with one of the Program Officers to remove your advising hold BEFORE registration. Make sure you are prepared with a tentative course schedule using the Spring 2013 Schedule of Classes and Honors course offerings. Please use our wide selection of dates to your advantage – plan on meeting with an advisor at a time that is most practical given your registration date. Students may discuss registration and remove advising hold by one of the following options:
1. Attend a hold removal party:
Sunday, October 28th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. – join us at brunch in Pelham Commons on Mount Vernon!
Monday, October 29th from 12 to 2 p.m. – pizza in the Club Room on Foggy Bottom!
Wednesday, October 31st from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. – bagels in the Club Room on Foggy Bottom!
2. Attend walk-in hours
Wednesday, October 24th (5pm-7pm, Foggy Bottom Only)
Wednesday, October 31st (5pm-7pm, Foggy Bottom Only)
Thursday, November 1st (10am-4pm),
Friday, November 2nd (10am-4pm),
Monday, November 5th (10am-4pm),
3. Make an appointment with an advisor:
Online at http://www.gwu.edu/~uhpwww/appointments.cfm
Remember that appointments will not be available on walk-in days – because you can just walk-in!
**Please note that Columbian College students who have declared a major should see their faculty advisors regarding course selection, but may have their hold removed by the Honors Program Officers. Elliott, Business, and Engineering School students should meet with their school advisors for hold removal, if they have holds, and for registration advising, but are always welcome to Honors advising about their course selection!
Attention ALL Students: Urgent Hold Information
Check your record via GWeb regarding holds prior to your scheduled registration time. Any hold on your account will prevent access to registration.
