A Sunday Afternoon in the Hills of Valparaiso

If you ever have the chance to go abroad, prioritize befriending the locals! One of my Chilean friends took me to a backyard bbq - delicious food with a side of traditional dancing! From the artwork in the garden to the live music, it was easy to forget the frigid fall temperatures and enjoy a day with friends.

A local folk artist provided a break for the traditional dancers.

Their backyard is decorated in what has become the style of the hills of Valparaiso, Chile.
Patio Artwork
The family's patio was so popular amongst neighborhood friends that they decided to pull out a few more tables and chairs and open up their home to the public on Sunday afternoons.
