As a comprehensive global research and teaching institution, the George Washington University's reach extends globally with collaborations and university initiatives in more than 50 countries. As a result, the university may desire to engage individuals who reside outside the U.S. to perform services for GW from outside the U.S., or to send a GW employee on an overseas assignment.
How to Apply
For faculty or staff who are considering engaging in work outside of the U.S. on the university's behalf, please take the following steps:
- Review the guidelines and submit a completed International Engagement Request Form.
- If approval for international engagement is obtained, please proceed to complete and submit the GW Telecommuting International Agreement.
- If you wish to engage individuals to conduct services from an abroad location in the capacity of independent contractors, please complete the International Independent Contractor Agreement and send it to ccasglobal@gwu.edu for the next level review and approval.
