2021.10: The SUM Lab’s presence at the INFORMS Annual Meeting in Anaheim, CA

Dr. Xu gave a plenary talk on his dissertation, “On the Empty Miles of Ride-Sourcing Services: Theory, Observation and Countermeasures” for winning the TSL Dissertation Award.

Dr. Xu chaired an inviting session, titled “Emerging Topics in Food and Grocery Delivery Services”. In this session, Linxuan, a current Ph.D. student at the SUM lab, made an oral presentation on his paper, “Dine in or take out? Trends on restaurant service demand amid the COVID-19 pandemic” [URL].
