The planning committee for the 2023 Civic Learning and Democratic Engagement (CLDE) meeting would like to encourage our HE-SL colleagues to submit a proposal for the 2023 Civic Learning and Democratic Engagement (CLDE) conference to be held May 31-June 2, 2023 in Boston, Massachusetts. CLDE is a collaboration of the American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU), American Democracy Project (ADP), and  the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA.).

Boise State University is focusing its annual on-campus teaching and learning conference in May 2023 around Experiential Learning.
They are looking for a keynote who can talk about the purpose, benefits, and key principles of teaching with Experiential Learning. They also welcome suggestions for how-to sessions. The audience will be college instructors. To nominate a colleague or yourself, email karabrascia@boisestate.edu

William & Mary (Williamsburg, VA) will host the 2023 Active Citizens Conference in person on Saturday, February 25 from 10-3:30 pm.

They are accepting proposals for 50 minute workshops through January 25.

The AAC&U is holding a hybrid conference March 9-11, 2023 in Henderson, Nevada and is accepting presentation proposals until 11:59 pm ET on 11/14/2022.  Proposals for the Conference on Diversity, Equity, and Student Success are being accepted for a variety of session types for this hybrid conference that will take place on March 9–11, with the in-person component held in Henderson, NV (just outside of Las Vegas).  Submit a proposal for this critical event that will embrace truth-telling about diversity, equity, and student success efforts. This is the perfect opportunity to share successes and lessons learned as we work together toward achieving our goals.

Deadline for proposals for IMPACT 2023 is November 4th 2022 and the conference will be held from February 23-26 2023 at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Link for proposals

The IMPACT Conference brings together college students, nonprofit professionals, campus administrators, faculty, and teams of service members to share experiences, stories, and resources in their work for social change. The annual conference provides an opportunity for attendees to gather and collaborate with one another with a focus on civic engagement, service-learning, community-based research, advocacy, and other forms of social action.

Being a workshop presenter is a chance for you to share your knowledge and experience with attendees. This can be done by conveying effective strategies and practices, providing resources, sharing research and stories, and inspiring attendees to be agents of social change.
