Call for Proposals: 2025 AAC&U Annual Meeting

The American Association of Colleges and Universities (AAC&U) is seeking proposals for its 2025 Annual Meeting, "Reaffirming Higher Education's Public Purpose," addressing current challenges in higher education. The Annual Meeting will be January 22-24, 2025, in Washington, DC.

Submit proposals by July 31, 2024. More information available here

The meeting will focus on topics including "political interference, declining public confidence, the growing influence of artificial intelligence, a student mental health crisis, and more." Proposals should address challenges facing colleges, universities, and higher education broadly.

AAC&U encourages proposals that:
- Focus on cross-institutional and cross-sector collaboration
- Present solutions developed by educators partnering with policymakers and philanthropists
- Offer models for campus engagement and student learning in challenging times

Accepted proposals will fall into one of these tracks:
- Advancing Public Purposes
- Arguing with Evidence
- Bridging Science and Humanity
- Educating for a Democracy in Question
- Leveraging Digital Innovation
- Transforming Policies and Practices to Support Student Success
