Campus Compact Webinar: Classroom/Campus Dialogue Tool

How an Easy-to-Use Dialogue Tool is Enhancing Learning and Fostering Belonging in Classrooms, Campuses, and Beyond: A Conversation with Living Room Conversations Higher Ed Practitioners

Living Room Conversations (LRC) is hosting a virtual event on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at 2:00 PM Eastern time to discuss how their dialogue tool enhances learning and fosters belonging in higher education settings. The 90-minute session will introduce the LRC model and explore its applications in civic education, social cohesion, and student leadership development.

To participate, GW faculty and administrators can register here.  The session will feature case studies and best practices from faculty and staff who have implemented LRC in various campus settings, including curricula, campus conversations, research, and community engagement.

"Living Room Conversations (LRC) connects people within communities and across differences using a unique conversational model that makes it easy for anyone to create a safe and welcoming environment where people can respectfully discuss important issues."

The event will be facilitated by Becca Kearl, Executive Director of Living Room Conversations. It is open to both members and non-members of Campus Compact, regardless of position on campus.
