The 8th Annual John W. Hatch FaithHealth Lecture, Transforming the Narrative: Amplifying Voices, Addressing Disparities, Promoting Justice, is an in-person and online event that will convene at the Impact Center in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. The keynoter will be, Dr. James H. Johnson, Jr.,  William R. Kenan Jr. Distinguished Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship in the Kenan-Flagler Business School and Director of the Urban Investment Strategies Center in the Frank Hawkins Kenan Institute of Private Enterprise at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

The Hatch Lecture Series engages faith and health leaders in thought-provoking dialogue reflective of the strength of faith and health intersections in improving population health and building stronger communities. It commemorates the pioneering work of Dr. John W. Hatch, William Rand Kenan Jr. Professor Emeritus, Health Behavior and Health Education, University of North Carolina Gillings School of Global Public Health. Dr. Hatch’s esteemed career includes over fifty years of experience in the areas of faith, health, and community organization, with a particular focus on underserved communities and social justice.
