Each year, GW honors excellence in teaching, research, and service among faculty members and graduate teaching assistants by awarding the Oscar and Shoshana Trachtenberg Prizes for Teaching, Scholarship (Research), and Service; the Morton A. Bender Teaching Awards; the Philip J. Amsterdam Graduate Teaching Assistant Awards; the Office of the Vice Provost for Research Faculty Awards; and the Writing in the Disciplines (WID) Distinguished Teaching Awards.
This year, we are pleased to introduce a new award, GW Inventor of the Year. This award recognizes a regular, full-time faculty member who has made an outstanding impact on society with their invention and commercialization activities.
