Sandy Hoar, Assistant Clinical Professor of Physician Assistant Studies and Global Health, helped plan and facilitate a very successful international workshop, "Effective Partnership Practices for Social Change in Global Health!", for the Community-Based Primary Health Care working group of the International Health section of American Public Health Association, November 2, 2019.
Professor Hoar also completed a beginner and intermediate workshop on disease modeling with the Institute for Disease Modeling, presented a late-breaker poster, "Is This Rash Measles?", and served again as a Specialist Mentor for young professionals, at the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene annual meeting, Nov 19-24.
