Campus Compact is seeking book proposals to advance the understanding and practice of civic and community engagement in higher education. This presents an opportunity for GW faculty to contribute to field-leading publications that address complex social issues and further equity, justice, and prosperity.

Campus Compact is particularly interested in manuscripts that align with their current Strategic Plan, focusing on:
1. Combating polarization through conflict transformation and bridge-building
2. Building professional capacity in community and civic engagement
3. Advancing student civic participation and leadership
4. Communicating the impact and value of civic and community engagement
5. Enhancing higher education's responsiveness to complex social issues
6. Advancing evidence-based scholarship on innovative practices
7. Uncovering action-oriented solutions to pressing social issues
The organization welcomes proposals from both new and established authors. Campus Compact and its editorial advisory board offer consultation, feedback, and potential mentorship to scholar-practitioners developing their book proposals.
