ENGAGE! Journal is seeking submissions for its November issue focused on housing and homelessness. The deadline for article submissions is September 15th, 2024.
ENGAGE! is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes research from community-university collaborations, advancing community engaged and community-based participatory research.
GW faculty interested in submitting should note that the journal welcomes contributions from social program developers, grassroots innovators, policy leaders, activists, community and faith-based service providers, and scholars. ENGAGE! is committed to publishing work that addresses critical social issues through community-university partnerships. This special issue on housing and homelessness seeks to highlight innovative research, programs, and policies that are making a difference in addressing these pressing challenges.
The journal encourages submissions that:
- Present findings from community-based participatory research projects
- Describe innovative programs or interventions
- Analyze policy impacts or propose new policy approaches
- Explore the lived experiences of individuals affected by housing insecurity or homelessness
- Examine the intersections of housing, health, education, and other social factors
ENGAGE! has an open access policy and there are no charges for article processing. The journal values clear, accessible language to reach a broad, multilingual readership.
